My Journey to Africa from South to North, and Everything in-between

The Travelers

This is me! My name is Sarah. I’m 20 years old, and about to be a senior at the University of San Francisco (majoring in Comm. Studies and minoring in Gender and Sexuality Studies/Child and Youth Studies). I lived in Rome Fall ‘09 for 5 months through a study abroad program and traveled a bit around Europe while I was there. Still working on what I’m going to do with my life.

My Cousin Robert. He’s a 29 year old swim coach and substitute teacher, in the process of getting his credentials to teach history full time. He lived and traveled in South Africa (Hogsback) for 9 months through a volunteer program when he was around 23 years old, and still says that South Africa is one of his favorite places in the world.

My cousin Patrick. He’s 22 years old, and graduated from UCLA Spring ‘09 with a double major in Anthropology and Political Science. Right now he’s working as a tutor for the LSAT, and is going to University of Chicago Law School in the fall. He lived and traveled in India for 6 months (Delhi) on a study abroad program when he was still in school.
