Travel withdrawals
Alright alright I admit, I’ve been lazy. And jet-lagged. And time-warped. And trying to face real life again. And uploading 5 million pictures at once. But that’s no excuse, right? Maaybe.
But as I’m getting up the courage and stamina to post the last few stories and videos that I have from my Africa road trip, I wanted to take a second to recommend some other amazing blogs I’ve been trying to follow in those spare 15 minutes I actually make it on a computer. Not to mention the travel directory on tumblr is looking a bit weak and lacking some good recs (*hint*). Without further adieu, definitely make sure to check out alstairandsam (two aussies traveling Europe), 48in50 (a guy who made a journey across most of the USA in only 50 days), wiseash (who posts some beautiful pictures), and laviebelem (without whose shout out two months ago I probably would not have nearly as many followers as I do).
Ok, now, I SWEAR I’ll get to those stories soon. In the mean time just imagine crushing heat, some touchy (not in the good way) Egyptian men, some more new friends, and a bar in Cairo that may or may not have faced my cousin’s wrath for, well, sucking. Big time.
