“Vacationing” in Zanzibar with the Simpsons (Molly and Stephen). We were all having too much fun together in Dar, and so we decided to have a last hurrah and spend a few more days together on the island of Zanzibar just off the coast.
To sum up: almost left my passport in Dar, awesome cab driver, sun-down swim, surprise rocks (ouch), full moon, low tide (we walked almost a mile out into what was supposed to be water it was so low), painfully cold showers, strange/nice German lady running the lodge, card games, and beach.
We said our goodbyes on the third day, and plan to meet up one more time in Cairo before Robb and I head home, and Pat heads off to London. It was great to have our paths cross for a time though, and I wish them the best of luck in Jordan.
